Do you have an upcoming event that needs that special touch?
Someone with a free spirit who can take all the pressure of the day from you?
I am Gary, a vintage inspired independent celebrant based in the heart of Kent.
Whether it’s a dignified and heartfelt cremation, or a full of fun wedding celebration, I can create a day to be remembered for all the right reasons.
Everyone of us is unique and so I can arrange a day that will reflect the character of the central people involved.

I live in the heart of Kent with my wife, Karen, and our 3 cats.
I’ve always had a passion for the vintage and retro eras and this is reflected in the way I dress and present myself.
In our spare time, we like to visit vintage fairs and emporiums, finding those little gems that will enhance our lives! I also own a Harley Davidson motorcycle and, when I can, take it out for trips to the coast.
Serving others has been the core of my working life, with my career to date revolving around helping people to achieve their needs and wants with the minimal of fuss. I started working for a high street bank back in the day when you could visit a branch and interact with a human! Learning all the branch roles, I then trained others in these roles as well as the art of customer service before moving on to a major Japanese photographic company, being the point of contact for clients who had issues placing orders and again training others.
After a short spell in the charity industry, I looked to my more spiritual side, spending 2 years with mediums and spiritualists and learning the art of meditation and spiritual healing.
In the last 12 years I have been involved in Logistics firstly by visiting clients and developing their business needs, before moving on to a more hands on part of the sector, actually driving HGVs.
However, I feel I am missing out on what I can offer the world, and so I have returned to my spiritual side, and now want to be there for people whether it is to help them through their grief at the loss of a loved one, or to be there while they celebrate a major milestone of their lives.
If you think we would make a good team, why not contact me and we can discuss what part I can play in your special day.

Funeral
Following an informal chat with you, I can create a ceremony that will reflect the Guest of Honour’s character.
From warm words of welcome, with music, poems or readings from relations or friends and a heartfelt eulogy, thru to the final goodbye, the day will give a real insight to their life and loves.
The ceremony will revolve around all those principal people involved, and I will do my utmost to accommodate any request.
Wedding
This is your chance to let your imagination run wild !! Between us, we can create an amazing fun filled ceremony for you and your guests. Everything, from your entrance to the announcement of your union, this will be a unique reflection of your love. Music, readings, vows – they will all be chosen and written with special meanings behind them. This is YOUR day, and so between us, we will make this magical day perfect.

Wedding Ritual Ceremonies
We can discuss adding an additional Ritual Ceremony to the proceedings :
Ring Warming – prior to your entrance, your rings can be
(safely!) passed around your guests so that they can infuse them with some words of love and friendship as they touch or hold them.
Handfasting – a short ceremony with Pagan roots, whereby we will bind your hands together with colourful ribbons or ropes to signify your commitment to stay ‘tied’ together.
Sand Ceremony – coloured sand is poured into your choice of glass receptacle by you both, and any other member of your family and friends, to signify the bonding together of your lives.
